Bakkies Botha, well known former Springbok lock, started Bakkies Boerewors in 2011 in Toulon where Bakkies spoiled the French and home sick South African Rugby Players with a taste of home – Bakkies Boerewors.

It’s a perfect recipe with a perfectionist Legend as a master, Bakkie Botha! There is a definite similarity between this legend’s game plan and Bakkies Boerewors – its precise and 100% real.

After retiring from rugby, Bakkies decided to continue with his favorite Boerewors recipe, and together with Field to Fork, can now serve South Africans with a taste explosion in Bakkies Boerewors and our range of Field to Fork Braai Spices

With Field to Fork/Veld tot Vurk less is more! Field to Fork/Veld tot Vurk is a proudly South-African range of spices, born from the Bakkies Boerewors initiative. The Field to Fork spices has a well-balanced blend of pure herbs and spices, tastefully blended together as the perfect mix. Ideal for braai, potjie, grill, roasts, stews and cooking, enhancing the natural taste of the food, and even makes it perfect as a vegetable topping and salad dressing, not to mention using Field to Fork/Veld tot Vurk spices to sprinkle over jour cut biltong!!  Developed and formulated on the principle of using only pure spices, with Field to Fork/Veld tot Vurk only the essential quantity is better than using to much.

Field to Fork/ Veld tot Vurk currently has three different products named Braai Mix, All purpose and Woestersous seasoning, all in 200ml plastic bottles with a seal and cap.
